Italian Madder Tie:

Madder-Dyed silk is widely regarded as the finest of all printed silks, celebrated for its saturated colors, deep prints, and unmistakably rich character.

While Traditional English Madder (often called Ancient Madder) is the oldest and most recognized style, always printed on silk twill with a soft, “chalky” hand, we selected Italian Madder for this collection to achieve a refined and luxurious feel.

Our Italian Madder is printed on Schappe Silk, a specialty yarn known for exceptional softness, woven in a Saglione weave to introduce a subtle texture and depth.

Although Italy and England are renowned for necktie craftsmanship, our most exceptional construction is performed in Poland, where our Master Tailor produces each tie individually:

• Every tie is cut by hand along the true bias for an elegant, fluid drape.

• The tie is constructed with a two-layer wool interlining, a highly technical method requiring advanced skill.
  This results in a knot that is exceptionally well-formed, balanced, and luxurious—far superior to the structure produced by standard single-layer interlinings.
