This tie was woven in Como, Italy, on their world-renowned wooden jacquard looms. They can add layers of complexity to weaves that still aren't perfectly replicated with modern mechanical looms.
The navy blue body is woven with a smooth silk satin, while the brown stripe is woven with repp silk, and the silver stripe is a basket weave.
The result of mixing these weaves together is a striped tie with added layers of visual interest and forms an incredible knot thanks to the satin.
