Italian Silk Bourette and Cotton Tie

This tie is crafted from a distinctive blend of 75 percent silk bourette and 25 percent cotton, woven in Como, Italy. Silk bourette is known for its naturally irregular texture, created from shorter silk fibers that give the fabric a uniquely coarse, organic character. When combined with cotton, the result is a material with a rugged feel, offering a subtle visual depth that differs from traditional smooth silks.

The muted pattern enhances the understated charm of this fabric. Rather than standing out with sharp definition, the design settles into the weave with quiet ambience. This creates a tie that pairs exceptionally well with textured tailoring, seasonal fabrics, and more relaxed sartorial settings.

Although the fabric is woven in Italy, construction is entrusted to our master tailor in Poland, where each tie is individually crafted to an exacting standard:

The tie is built with a two-layer wool interlining, a highly technical method requiring advanced skill.
This results in a knot that is exceptionally well formed, balanced, and luxurious, far superior to the structure produced by standard single-layer interlinings.
