This beautiful jacquard tie was woven in Como, Italy using century old wooden looms.
These wooden looms help to create a somewhat loose weave that adds extra depth and character to fabric, and the look has yet to be recreated by modern looms. This is created on the same loom that birthed grenadine silk, which causes the silk weave to look slightly like a garza fina grenadine.
The warp of the fabric is woven with midnight blue yarns, which help to add depth to the tie, while the weft is woven with a mix of silver and bronze threads, giving this tie a truly unique coloration.
A tie like this may be difficult to wear, but I would highly recommend pairing it with navy blues and grays, while some shades of brown would pair nicely as well.
As for a pocket square, either a purple or navy blue is a must!
