Contrary to traditional Three Fold Ties, which use a wool interlining, Seven Fold Ties use only silk which has been folded over itself to create the internal structure. This process takes far more silk than traditional ties and more time/skill to sew.
The resulting tie is one of exceptional quality, having a feel that no other tie can give.
We chose to use an English Silk Twill for this tie, which is among the highest quality silks to use.
English silk is famous for its deep silk prints and formal appearance. This silk is more firm than Italian silk, allowing it to be more wrinkle and wear resistant.
